Galway football manager Kevin Walsh steps down

Galway have been on the watch for a brand new senior soccer manager following the resignation of Kevin Walsh on Tuesday.
He former Sligo boss accountable for this Tribesmen overseeing real progress at the time. The Westerners attained Division 1 status picked up two Connacht names and consolidated that position during his reign.
In addition they bridged a 17-year gap by choosing up a championship win at Croke Park and reaching an All-Ireland.
But they were not able to achieve the Super 8s this year after a provincial loss to Roscommon and a qualifier defeat to Mayo.
There’ll not be a shortage of titles connected to the function, along with the county is well placed to compete at the table in the next few years, with success at both club and provincial on a national phase.
