This weekend, we’ve got a 12-fight card in Sweden. It turned out to be a 13-fight card, but we just had Oezdemir/Latifi drop off, so be sure they aren’t in your lineups. DraftKings has some solid contests for us to acquire a lot of money from this week. The main GPP is a $15 buy and $25k goes to 1st place with a total of $100k being paid out. They also have a new Qualifier only competition for $175,000. There’ll be 100 qualifiers for that contest and they’ll compete for a $50k first place cost and that $175k will probably be distributed between all 100 admissions that qualify. I will attempt to get my chair this week if at all possible. Those Qualifier only contests can be real bankroll suckers, so be careful chasing those overly hard. I’ll likely stick to the top GPP this week and then throw a small number of entries at the $25k decoration, then I am going to take a couple shots in the Q. I will also be posting H2Hs in addition to picking up H2Hs through the week to get a good quantity of play into money games.
With that said, let us get to a few plays I like this week Together with my fade of this week:
Cash Game play of the week — Alexander Gustafsson — $9,300
Gus is my confident pick of the card this week and he is also the biggest betting favorite on the card. I think we could stack this main event in money games and use both Gus and Anthony Smith, but I am not positive if I will do this or not. I will for sure have Gustafsson within my cash lineup however and he is who I will be starting that lineup with. With 5-rounds to use I think he has the maximum ceiling on the card and that I believe he gets a complete in this fight. Perhaps with numerous takedowns. He’ll be extremely popular in GPPs so in the event that you want to escape from him I think the tournaments are the spots for that. I’ll be locking him into my cash lineup though .
GPP drama of the week — Tonya Evinger — $8,600
On DraftKings, I enjoy Evinger in her struggle and I have zero interest in Lansberg. Evinger’s best path to victory is penalizing Lansberg on the ground and that scores tremendously if she can do that. In addition, I believe she could get a finish. I think she’s in play in all formats and I really do think she’s 100+ upside down here and that is why she’s my GPP drama of the week. There are not a lot of UFC matchups I would say that for with Evinger at this point in her career, but this one seems perfect for her. I think she dominates this battle and finishes it with floor in pound in around 2 or 1. If that’s the case, she should score well and win a person $25k.
Underdog drama of this week — Devin Clark — $7,500
I feel forced to play Devin Clark this week since he is only $7.5k however he’s the current gaming favorite. I love that type of worth on DraftKings and that is what’s forcing me to roll up him. We must include“underdogs“ within our DK lineups and if we could really get a favored, or even a roster with 6 favorites, that helps our likelihood of hitting all 6 fights and hopefully taking down a GPP. Clark ought to be hot this week as well due to this value, therefore I think he is in play for a money game cube and if you want, but in GPPs you’ll want to get him in more than 33% of your lineups to get any leverage on him over the field.
Fade of this week — Duda Santana $8,600
Duda Santana is an easy fade for me this week. She’s $8.6k but she is the underdog on the gambling line. She’s also +365 to win ITD. If I am paying that cost on DK I want higher finishing upside or someone who’ll be heading for a lot of takedowns. I don’t see her having a lot of a ceiling inside this fight even if she does win so that I don’t see her being around the $25k lineup. That is why I will be complete fading Santana this week. If I was making 150 lineups afterward I’d add her in the combination, but I’d need 50 lineups until I even contemplated using her.
